My Sweet Ethan

I feel I need to write about all sweet things Ethan.
Earlier today I was holding kaiden on my lap, and talking to Neils and Kaiden was giggling his butt off because his sweet brother was playing with him. I realized that I haven't posted a blog just about him, and I want to so I can read back on these precious moments in his life. And for all family to read, although you all know what a sweety he is :)

Just a little bit ago I was cuddling with him on the couch, while neils had kaiden at the store, and we were watching Peter Pan. Wendy was singing "Your mother and mine" and Ethan told me to sing it, so I sang it, and he said "that was pretty. You are a nice mommy" I got all teary eyed, lol. That was just to sweet! He was also sharing his graham crackers with me. Which he always does. He breaks them in half and gives me one. He always wants to share with me. I almost always accept, but sometimes I say "thank you but I'm not very hungry right now" and he is usually ok with that, sometimes he gets upset. I love that he likes to share with me so much. He doesn't always want to share with Kaiden, lol, but that's normal, and if he doesn't want to share, he will usually find something else to give to Kaiden to play with. Its very sweet! He loves Kaiden so much. Its been so much easier than I expected. If Kaiden starts fussing, Ethan starts singing "Twinkle Little Star" to him, or will try and play with him, if all else fails he says "Momma, Kaiden is crying" LOL. It really helps out when I'm trying to do stuff and Kaiden is fussing, because Ethan will play with him to distract him, lol, Kaiden only gets distracted for a short time though.

I also love that Ethan is so lovey. He is always just coming over out of the blue and giving us kisses or saying "I love you". I always will tell him I love him several times a day, for no reason. So he gets that from me :) He can also kiss really hard, LOL, which he also gets from me. I just want to squeeze him, so I kiss him hard instead, lol. I have done it since he was a baby, my sister does it too, lol, and we do it to Kaiden. So Kaiden will probably kiss hard also. I don't mind him kissing hard, except when he does it to Kaiden, and Kaiden of course cant hold his own very well, lol. So we had to keep reminding him "don't kiss kaiden over" LOL, he has gotten use to it and pretty much remembers to kiss him gently. Whenever Kaiden is in his high chair in the living room, Ethan always stands on the bottom slat going across the bottom, so he can be high enough to play with him and hug him. We have to tell him to get down though because it can possibly tip the high chair, that wouldn't be good!! Another thing he does a lot, he likes to give him lots of hugs. He is just very lovey. And I love it!
I think Ethan and Kaiden are going to be very close growing up, with some rivalry, just like me and my brother had. Ethan is a great big brother, I think he will look out for Kaiden a lot. He is very wary of strangers holding him, lol. Not that I let strangers just hold Kaiden. But like nurses at the Dr.'s and what not, Ethan will get very protective.

Oh, and since Kaiden is older, Ethan thinks he can wrestle with him now, typical boy he is :) We have had to say "Ethan don't roll your brother" lol. But he was pretty much only doing that at a friends house. He very rarely does it at all now. Not an every day occurrence that's for sure. But I cant wait till Kaiden is old enough to rough house with him, LOL.
Another thing I love about my little man, he loves to do art at his desk, he has these little white ornaments you paint and hang on your tree. Well he paints them, then paints some paper, wraps it with the paper, then will give it to someone, its so sweet. A few weeks ago he made one, and got the ribbon type thing that was wrapped around the handle of a tennis racket (he tore it off) and wrapped that ribbon around the paper that was wrapped around the present, lol, I thought that was such a cute touch, then he said he wanted to give it to his teacher Karen, so he did, she loved it!

There is a lot more I could say about my handsome young man.
I'm not saying he's perfect, lol, but his main troubles right now are school related, and he has actually been doing a lot better.

I love you Ethan!! You are such a wonderful little (I mean big) boy!!
