weekend project

I have been superbusy, well i feel like i have been anyway.
Kaiden has been a terror lately, especially at night. I was feeding him avocado, did it for 3 days, he loved it, but he was already having a hard time with his tummy, i must have ate something he didnt agree with, then adding the avocado made things even worse. Each night he has kept me up for several hours tossing and turning in pain, getting little farts out here and there. So i stopped the avocado, going to give him some time to work things out, then try it again or try peas. I was told those are very easy on the tummy. so we shall see. I hope i get a good nights sleep tonight. Im about to go crazy if i dont. Then during the day hes being so clingy again!
This morning he stood all on his own with no support for a good 10 seconds! He is going to be walking by 9 months, im almost positive! yikes!
So our project this weekend with Ethan was cars made from toilet paper rolls, they were so fun to make and play with!!
First you paint the toilet paper roll: Image hosting by Photobucket

Then you let it dry:

Then you cut holes about the size of the end of the toilet paper roll out of black craft foam, cut 4 of them for each car. and cut one quarter size hole for the steering wheel:

Then cut quartersize holes out of tinfoil. 5 for each car.

Then attach all the tinfoil to the foam circles. and to the steering wheel, decorate as needed. Then punch a hole in the middle of each one, and put a brad through it, but dont close the brad yet:

On your car, cut this out: fold one side up, to make a seat, and the other down, for the steering wheel:

Punch a hole in your steering wheel flap, then four on the sides of your car, for where your tires will go. Then attach everything where it belongs.
Then play with your car!!

Ethans, Neils, and Heathers cars.

It was alot of fun,
we got the idea from my family fun magazine. it has great ideas! I love it. It also suggested adding paper decorations, but that was more to fall apart if you ask me, so we just stuck to the paint.

Precious and Buttercup are finally pretty much all better! I was really scared i was going to lose precious. She wasnt eating anything! I even warmed her up some fried chicken, tuna, lunchmeat, but nothing was working. So i was afraid she had liver failure. After another vet checkup i went and bought different wet food to keep force feeding her, and a new dry cat food. I got home made it up, put it in the bathroom with her during her steam treatment. I totally thought i was going to walk in and have to force feed her, which is very emotionally draining, but she was eating!!! I was so excited i cried, lol, very relieved! Shes my baby girl and cant leave me anytime soon! She was 11lbs12ozs, and is now 10.07lbs, poor girl lost alot of weight starving herself. So Im feeling better!
