I'm a stay at home mom to 2 wonderful boys! My son Ethan is 3yrs old, and my son Kaiden is 6 months, born August 19th, 2005. As any other stay at home mom knows, its a tough job!! And taking time to relax and write a blog entry and reflect on the day feels good!!

So much to say...

So pretty sure Kaiden has said his first word. Yesterday he finally started really blubbering. Its so cute! I will record it and put it on here! Anyway, I've heard Dadda in there a few times. He will go gagagadadada. And today he was crying and said "momma" clear as day, even Neils heard it. So which one was his first word? He has been working on saying Momma, only when he's crying, LOL.

Things have been ok.
We are completely and entirely broke!! We have been digging into our savings to get us by, which is suppose to be used for Neils's school, but things will work out.
Our cats are our reason for being so broke. We have now spent 250$ on getting them better. Buttercup is finally better, but now Precious is really sick. She's been sick for a week and a half now. I had to bring her back to the vet yesterday because her 3rd eyelid was covering part of her eye and was very red. And she has a hard time opening it. In the morning she cant open either of her eyes. So I brought her in and and they raised the scruff of her neck and it just stayed raised, she was so dehydrated! I felt like crap. I've seen her drinking water so I assumed she was getting enough. So they put a camel back in her, its where they shoot water into her back and it raises like a camel, and her body would absorb it. It absorbed it quick she was so dehydrated. They weighed her and she had lost 1 1/2 lbs in one week! yikes! So they force fed her and showed us how to. So we are doing that a few times a day. We had to buy more antibiotics and eye drops for her eye. It looks so nasty! I really hope she gets all better and we don't have to deal with this again. I'm going to get both of them their flu shots!

Today is 1 month since Crybaby has been missing. I still think of him everyday, and I'm still really sad, but its been easier, I don't cry everyday anymore.

Last weekend we went to Table Mountain, it was so beautiful and so fun! Ethan had a blast!! So did we! It was his first time flying a kite, he just loved it. Then we went to my sisters to cook her dinner so her and her hubby didn't have to worry about it. It was a nice visit.
Here are some pictures of our trip to Table Mountain.
I really liked how this tree looked! The branches seem to be growing back into the grass.

This person had 4 cows in the front yard! It was so cute, LOL.

These closeups I tried doing with one of my programs, they were originally a bigger picture with Ethan being pretty small, but they didn't turn out to well this way. All well. I gotta work with it more.
