I'm a stay at home mom to 2 wonderful boys! My son Ethan is 3yrs old, and my son Kaiden is 6 months, born August 19th, 2005. As any other stay at home mom knows, its a tough job!! And taking time to relax and write a blog entry and reflect on the day feels good!!

march already

I cant believe its already march, kaiden will be 7 months this month! its crazy, they grow up to fast! My little guy is feeling a little better. still has a nasty cough that keeps him awake and makes him cry. here is a picture of when he first got sick and had the nasty eye infection.
It snowed yesterday. It was so beautiful! When i left my house to take ethan to school it had only just started snowing, and it wasnt quite sticking yet. But as i got closer to Clark it was everywhere, nice and thick, and falling so heavily. It was beautiful coming at my windshield. I got to Ethans school and only 3 kids were there, lol. They asked if i was going to stay home because they were probably going to call a snowday. I hung out for my normal 15-20 minutes, and decided to take Ethan home, lol, and they recommended it. So in the middle of him eating his bfast I asked if he wanted to come home and play in the snow, he jumped right up and put his dishes away and we excitedly left. His teachers got a kick out of it, lol. and there was already so much more snow on the ground.

while relaxing inside, watching the pretty snow fall, all these birds just came out of no where. it was so neat. There were dozens, and they were just walking around all over. I took tons of pictures, but couldnt get them all in one shot clearly, they were to far away.
here is the best closeup i could get

here is a pic of about 10 if you look close enough.

I havekaiden sleeping on my lap atm! Kaiden is so glued to me. He will barely play by himself, so I play with him, then he gets bored with that, and just wants me to carry him around. Then he gets tired. which is a complete battle, This boy fights sleep so damn good!! its very frustrating. I finally get him to sleep, and want to lay him down so i can get all my chores done, but nope, he wakes right up. so i need to hold him the whole time he sleeps so that he sleeps good and wakes up happy. I havent gotten much done at all this week, but wasnt from lack of trying. oh, and apparently sleeping on dadda doesnt cut it, it has to be his momma!! is it frustrating? yes, but i wouldnt trade it for the world. he just loves me like crazy, just as i do him, lol. and by being here for him, and picking him up when he cries, im giving him a good sense of security, which makes me happy. that and i cant stand hearing him cry, lol, babies dont need to cry. they are babies, they are there to get loved and cuddled. ****edited to say that i do let him cry sometimes when things need to get done and ive done everyhing i can to make him happy. i also let him cry when he wants to sleep and is fighting it. i sit him in front of me and let him cry about 3-10 minutes, then he falls asleep on me.
well that was alot longer than expected, lol. just my ramblings.
well, off to watch a movie.
